The Sustainable Angle is a not-for-profit organisation which initiates and supports projects which contribute to minimizing the environmental impact of industry and society.
We help companies minimize their environmental impact through making more informed design and fabric choices and increasing their use of sustainable materials, via the annual Future Fabrics Expo showcase, the year-round online Future Fabrics Virtual Expo, and sustainable fabric sourcing workshops for designers and brands.

The fourth Future Fabrics Expo took place within Fashion SVP at London Olympia, in September 2014. If you couldn’t make it you can still discover a wide range of the sustainable textiles and resources showcased online at www.futurefabricsvirtualexpo.com, where you can find full specifications and contact mills directly. More fabrics and resources were added in October 2014.
We additionally presented a seminar on ‘building sustainability into your textile buying’, exploring how to assess fabrics in relation to sustainability, avoiding pitfalls when sourcing sustainably, and developments of the sustainable textiles market. You can contact us if you are interested in us delivering seminars or workshops at your event or company.
Please click the donate button if you or your organisation would like to make a contribution, to help enable us to continue promoting and supporting sustainable fabric sourcing at the not for profit Future Fabrics Expo.
We have now added dozens of new fabrics to the Future Fabrics Virtual Expo, as well as a range of updated resources including our guide to textile and production certifications.
The Future Fabrics Virtual Expo allows constant access to hundreds of fabrics with a reduced environmental impact, and sourcing and sustainability information, any time, from anywhere.
